Role: Senior Software Engineer India (Reporting to US Product Lead)

We are looking for a Sr. Software Engineer who is comfortable working across different layers of the stack and is excited about building intelligent, enterprise-grade applications. This role involves backend development, frontend collaboration, cloud deployments, and exposure to AI-driven systems.
You don't need to be an expert in everything we value strong fundamentals, curiosity, and the ability to learn quickly.
You will be part of our India-based engineering team and work closely with our US Product Lead and backend team to ship polished, production-grade front end features that customers love.
What you will do
- Build and maintain backend services and APIs.
- Contribute to frontend development and collaborate closely with UI engineers.
- Work with cloud platforms to deploy and run applications.
- Containerize applications using Docker.
- Participate in system design discussions and architectural decisions.
- Integrate AI/ML capabilities such as LLM APIs or automation workflows.
- Work on integrations with enterprise systems, including ERP platforms.
- Collaborate with cross-functional and US-based teams.
What you bring (Requirements)
- 26 years of software engineering experience.
- Programming experience in languages such as Python, Node.js, JavaScript, or similar.
- Understanding of frontend technologies (React or similar frameworks, HTML, CSS).
- Experience working with any major cloud provider (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Familiarity with Docker and container-based applications.
- Understanding of backend concepts such as APIs, databases, and authentication.
- Basic knowledge of system design principles (scalability, reliability, performance).
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
Nice to Have
- Exposure to AI/ML concepts (LLMs, prompt engineering, embeddings, model APIs).
- Experience or familiarity with ERP systems (Oracle, SAP, NetSuite, Workday).
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and modern DevOps practices.
- Experience building B2B or enterprise software.
