Role Overview
We are seeking a
Senior Java Engineer with strong backend development experience in modern enterprise systems. You'll work closely with engineering leads and product teams to architect and build high-performing Java applications in a fast-paced Agile environment.
As part of the InRhythm team, you'll not only write code but also contribute to architectural decisions, mentor junior engineers, and help shape product strategy. This is a great opportunity for developers who are passionate about enterprise-grade engineering and looking to work on impactful fintech projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable, performant microservices using Java 8/11, Spring Boot, and REST APIs
- Develop robust backend systems that support high-volume, low-latency environments
- Work with Kafka, multithreading, asynchronous programming, and CI/CD pipelines
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure clean code, optimal performance, and secure applications
- Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and Agile ceremonies
- Handle deployment and infrastructure aspects, preferably in AWS
- Work on Fintech projects with high regulatory and performance standards
Mandatory Skills
- Core Java (preferably Java 11), SOLID principles, design patterns
- Multithreading, concurrency, and asynchronous programming
- Spring, Spring Boot, Hibernate, REST APIs
- Kafka or any messaging/streaming technology
- JUnit or equivalent testing frameworks
- Cloud understanding (AWS preferred)
- Database skills SQL, Oracle, MongoDB, etc.
- Good grasp of CI/CD, DevOps, and system design
Nice to Have
- GRPC, HTTP/2, OAuth, encryption standards
- Exposure to tools like Jenkins, Sonar, Algolia, Elasticsearch
- Agile/Scrum experience
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Other Requirements
- Must have worked on at least one Fintech domain project
- No long employment gaps or frequent job changes
- Open to hybrid work model (3 days from Pune office)
- Interview Process: 4 Rounds (2 Internal + 2 Client)
