Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer - Java with 5-6 years of experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Java development and be able to design, develop and maintain complex software systems. The candidate should also have experience in working with large-scale enterprise-level applications. The role involves working in a fast-paced environment and requires excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain Java-based applications
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and develop solutions to business problems
Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, and deployment
Write well-designed, efficient, and testable code
Contribute to the development of technical documentation
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers

Skills and Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field
5-6 years of experience in Java development
Strong understanding of object-oriented programming concepts and design patterns
Hands-on experience in Spring, Hibernate, and other Java frameworks
Experience in working with databases like MySQL, Oracle, or PostgreSQL
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Experience in Agile development methodologies
Experience in leading small teams would be an added advantage
