Bachelor/Master of engineering degree in CS, IS,ECE
- Min Experience - 3 yrs. of testing in a software testing
- Experience of STB Testing/Consumer Electronics products
- Knowledge of Android TV / STB Product testing
- Working knowledge of Set Top Box, android TV framework and GMS certifications, middleware and OTT solutions is a Must
- Experience of basic network configuration
- Primary responsibilities to test android TV STB (manual and automation).
- Python programming experience is added advantage
- Ability to absorb multiple requirements and provide issue analysis and good problem solving skills.
- Engineer should be well versed with test processes, test planning and test designing.
- Knowledge of MPEG, IPTV & DVB Standards
- Knowledge of HDMI & Dolby Standards
- Knowledge of Linux Operating System
- Knowledge of Any test Management Tool
- Experience of Software Quality Processes & Development Lifecycles
- Good interpersonal, communication, presentation and reporting skills
Desirable Skills
- Knowledge of programming languages, e.g. Perl, TCL,PYTHON
- Knowledge of Automation Test Framework / Software Testing Tools
Duties and Responsibilities
- Manual and Automated test execution on Android STBs
- Maintain all test environments
- To identify, characterize and report all software issues
- To accurately report the status and progress of testing and the performance and usability of the software
- Participate in and contribute to formal Design and Project Reviews
- Communicate clearly and concisely at all levels.
- Adhere to the Organizations Policies
- Attention to detail and assigned tasks to be delivered as per Organization Quality Standards and Time-Lines
