This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Senior Software Engineer in India.
In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain scalable, secure, and high-performance software solutions that span from core backend services to front-end applications. You will work across a modern technology stack, including Go, NodeJS, Python, and supporting cloud infrastructure, contributing to products used globally. This position offers the opportunity to collaborate with distributed teams across multiple time zones, drive process improvements, and leverage automated tools and AI to accelerate development cycles. You will play a key role in defining system architecture, CI/CD pipelines, and operational best practices, ensuring seamless execution and high-quality delivery. The environment is fast-paced and collaborative, requiring strong technical leadership, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Accountabilities
- Develop, test, and deploy scalable and secure services using Go, NodeJS, or Python
- Design and implement automated test cases and enforce CI/CD pipelines to maintain code quality
- Collaborate with Product Management and UX teams to refine requirements and assess technical feasibility
- Define monitoring, alerts, and runbooks for zero-downtime deployment in distributed environments
- Improve engineering processes through automation, AI-assisted tools, and best practices
- Contribute to cross-functional collaboration across time zones, ensuring effective communication and alignment
Requirements
- 8+ years of professional programming experience delivering end-to-end, production-quality software
- Proficiency in Go, NodeJS, and/or Python; willingness to learn front-end frameworks such as VueJS as needed
- Deep understanding of Auth/IAM technologies including OAuth 2.0, OIDC, JWT, and IAM systems
- Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) and cloud-based concepts
- Experience working in geographically distributed teams with asynchronous communication and GitOps workflows
- Strong organizational, leadership, and decision-making skills, capable of guiding cross-functional teams
