As a Senior Software Engineer I, you will be responsible for developing and designing automated tests for functional and regression testing of our software products.

This position is part of the R&D Department and will be located in Bangalore, IDC, India. This position reports to the Engineering Manager, R&D and will be an onsite role.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

• Develop and design automated test framework for functional and regression testing.
• Responsible for developing and designing the automated test suite for the product.
• Provide software verification documentation including, but not limited to, Test Plans, and Verification Reports
• Responsibility includes interacting with cross-functional stakeholders from SQA, Marketing, Serviceand support organizations, and project/program managers during the development and delivery ofthe product.
• Work closely with software development to understand product requirements and to create corresponding test plan, test designstest protocols, and build test strategies for the project.

The essential requirements of the job include:

• Engineering degree in Computer Science or equivalent with 4+ years of related software automation testing experience
• 4+ years of automation testing experience using Java for web and cloud application environments
• Proficiency in developing automated test scripts and test suites for web and cloud-based applications using Java
• Experience building automation frameworks and test infrastructure from scratch for scalable test execution
• Hands-on experience implementing automation solutions for web and cloud applications using industry-standard tools and Java-based frameworks

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

• Knowledge of BDD, Cucumber framework
• A background in leveraging AI to improve operational performance.
• Experience working with distributed teams in a global setting.
