Senior Software Engineer

Lead and provide guidance in designing, developing, and delivering reliable, cost-effective, and high-quality software solutions across complex systems or subsystems. Influence technology decisions, evaluate innovations, and ensure alignment with business and architectural goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Technical Leadership: Provide guidance and mentorship to software teams, setting an example for innovative and high-quality systems design and development.
• Solution Design: Design and develop reliable and cost-effective solutions for assigned systems portions or subsystems, considering high-risk scenarios.
• Technology Evaluation: Identify and assess new technology innovations; integrate them into existing architectures in line with the technology roadmap and business objectives.
• Quality Assurance: Review and evaluate designs and project activities for compliance with development guidelines and standards; provide actionable feedback to improve product quality and mitigate failure risk.
• Problem Solving: Analyze complex application, system administration, and network problems to develop and implement robust solutions.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with stakeholders across business units to communicate product architectures, design proposals, and technical options effectively.
• Innovation Tracking: Contribute to the organization's history of innovation through patents or deployed software solutions.

Education & Experience Required:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related quantitative discipline.
• Typically 1015 years of relevant experience in software systems design and development.

Knowledge & Skills:

• Strong programming skills in Python, Java, Golang, or JavaScript.
• Deep expertise in software systems design, development methodologies, and cross-platform integration.
• Proficient in cloud-based security concepts, including identity and access management, firewalls, VPN, and in-plane switching systems.
• Proven track record of innovation and delivering high-quality software solutions.
• Ability to analyze complex problems and provide effective, strategic solutions.
