Senior Software Engineer (Future CTO Pathway)

FileSpin.io is a fast-growing B2B SaaS platform providing AI-powered Digital Asset Management (DAM) and Media Processing. We help enterprises scale their content operations with features like background removal, face recognition, video/image transformations, CDN delivery, and workflow automation.

We are now looking for a Senior Developer with strong technical leadership who can grow into the role of CTO within a few years. This is a unique opportunity for someone who wants not just to write code, but also to shape the technical vision, culture, and architecture of a SaaS business that's scaling globally.

As our Senior Developer (and future CTO), you'll:

• Take technical ownership of our core SaaS platform (Python, MySQL, Celery, OpenSearch, Redis, React frontend).
• Make architectural and design decisions that impact scalability, performance, and reliability.
• Lead and mentor a small team of developers; instill best practices in coding, testing, and deployment.
• Drive DevOps & infrastructure choices (AWS, Kubernetes, GPU servers for ML inference, Redis/Valkey, S3/CDN, etc.).
• Partner with the founder (current acting CTO) and step into leadership of technical roadmap planning and R&D.
• Collaborate with product, sales, and customers to deliver features that create clear business value.
• Champion security, compliance, and reliability across the platform.
• Prepare yourself to grow into a CTO role as the company scales.

• Backend: Python, FastAPI, Celery, REST APIs
• Data & Search: MySQL, OpenSearch, Redis/Valkey
• Frontend/Design: React, Next.js, Tailwind, Framer Motion, Figma
• Infrastructure: Docker Swarm, Kubernetes, AWS S3, Cloudflare R2
• ML/AI: NVIDIA GPUs, Triton inference server, custom models (face recognition, Remove Background), MCP, n8n
• Workflows: Prefect, Celery distributed tasks

• 8+ years experience in software engineering with a track record of shipping SaaS products.
• Strong expertise in Python, distributed systems, and cloud-native architectures.
• Deep experience in databases, caching, queues, and search at scale.
• Comfort with AWS services, Docker Swarm, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Bonus: exposure to machine learning pipelines, GPU inference, DAM/media processing.
• Strong communication and leadership skills able to mentor and grow a team.
