As a Senior Software Engineer, you'll build and optimize high-performance data pipelines, APIs, and backend systems to collect, structure, and deliver deep sector intelligence. You'll use Python and relational database technologies to support robust, data-driven applications. About Deep Sector Content
Deep sector content provides trusted, highly granular information focused on specific industry niches. It dives into complex datasets and specialized analysis, enabling clients to make informed, data-driven decisions at the highest level.
What You'll Do
- Architect, develop, and maintain Python-based systems powering Deep Sector data products.
- Design and optimize relational data models and queries for granular, industry-specific analytics across various relational database platforms (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MSSQL, Oracle, etc.).
- Build scalable APIs and integration layers for internal and external clients.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to integrate advanced analytics and machine learning into sector-specific products.
- Participate in technical design and code reviews to ensure continuous improvement and reliability.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and refine production environments for quality and stability of content delivery.
- Champion best practices, mentor junior engineers, and foster technical excellence within the team.

What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 5+ years of professional experience in Python development.
- Advanced proficiency with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, MSSQL, Oracle)data modeling, query optimization, stored procedures.
- Strong grasp of data structures, algorithms, and software engineering principles.
- Experience designing and implementing large-scale, distributed systems for data-driven applications.
- Exceptional problem-solving and communication skills.
- Experience working with AWS (preferred), or other major cloud platforms such as Azure or GCP.
Nice To Have
- Experience with additional programming languages.
- Familiarity with modern Python frameworks (e.g., FastAPI, Django, Flask).
- Exposure to document databases (e.g., MongoDB) or other NoSQL technologies.
