Senior Software Engineer

Role: SDE III (MERN + AI)

We are looking for strong SDE III candidates with MERN experience from E-commerce or Product based start ups only.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Architect & Build Scalable MERN Applications

Lead full-stack development with MongoDB, Express.js, React, Node.js

Ensure maintainability, security, and performance for components that handle millions of daily requests

2. Innovate with AI

Collaborate with data science and product teams to identify AI use-cases for personalization, search, fraud detection, or shipping optimization

Integrate machine learning models into production workflows (TensorFlow.js, Python microservices)

Prototype and A/B-test AI-enhanced features to measure impact on user engagement and revenue

3. Technical Leadership & Mentorship

Guide a cross-functional squad of SDEs (JrMid) through code reviews, design discussions, and paired programming

Establish engineering standards, CI/CD pipelines, and observability practices.

4. Product-Driven Execution

Translate user needs into elegant technical solutions

Prioritize tasks, manage backlogs, and deliver high-quality code on aggressive timelines

Partner with UX, QA, and DevOps to ensure seamless end-to-end delivery.

Must-Have Qualifications

6+ years of professional software development experience

Proven track record building e-commerce platforms or features at scale

Expert proficiency in the MERN stack: MongoDB, Express.js, React, Node.js

Hands-on experience integrating and deploying ML/AI models in production

Deep understanding of RESTful APIs, microservices, WebSockets, and serverless design

Strong system design skills: performance tuning, caching strategies, and database optimization

Excellent coding practices: test-driven development, code reviews, and Git workflows

Clear, concise communication and mentorship experience
