Job Description

  • Develop and optimise user interfaces for web applications, ensuring responsiveness and performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
  • Ensure code quality through regular reviews and testing processes.
  • Maintain and update existing front-end codebases to improve functionality.
  • Integrate APIs and third-party services into applications as needed.
  • Work closely with back-end developers to ensure seamless integration of front-end and back-end systems.
  • Stay updated on emerging front-end technologies and industry best practices.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.

The Successful Applicant

A successful SSE Front End should have:

  • 5+ Years of strong experience in Front end development building large scale web applications.
  • Should be good at React JS, Typescript, Javascript, Redux, GraphQL, AWS and AngularJS.
  • Strong expertise in front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript frameworks.
  • Should be good at writing unit tests
  • Experience in developing responsive web applications and optimising performance.
  • Knowledge of version control systems like Git.
  • Familiarity with API integration and working within a collaborative development environment.
  • A keen interest in staying updated with the latest trends in front-end development.
