Overview
We are seeking a Technical Evaluator (Software Development) to assess and validate the technical skills of professional developers applying for advanced-level status on our vendor platform. The evaluator will review developer submissions, portfolios, projects, and codebases to ensure they meet our technical and quality benchmarks.
Key Responsibilities
- PRO Evaluation: Assess developers profiles, portfolios, and technical work samples in Fullstack and related categories such as Website Development, Software Development, AI Applications, and Mobile App Development.
- PRO Demotion: Reassess and downgrade existing top-tier developers who no longer meet performance, code quality, or professionalism standards.
- Technical Vetting: Review technical projects, code repositories, and client feedback to determine authenticity and skill proficiency.
- Standard Compliance: Ensure submitted projects meet platform standards for scalability, security, and performance.
- Reporting: Maintain detailed evaluation records and provide clear, structured feedback to applicants and internal teams.
- Cross-category Evaluation: Occasionally review developers in related subdomains like API Integrations, Chatbot Development, Web Applications, or AI Integrations.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related discipline.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience as a Fullstack Developer or in similar roles (MERN, MEAN, LAMP, Django, or other stacks).
- Strong proficiency in front-end technologies (React, Angular, Vue, Next.js) and back-end frameworks (Node.js, Express, Django, Laravel, or .NET Core).
- Understanding of database systems (MySQL, MongoDB, PostgreSQL) and API integrations.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and DevOps fundamentals.
- Excellent analytical, documentation, and communication skills.
Preferred Competencies
- Working knowledge of AI Integrations, Web Applications, and Automations.
- Understanding of UI/UX principles, responsive design, and cross-browser compatibility.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to evaluate both technical depth and presentation quality.
- Ability to work independently with integrity and fairness in judgment.
