We are looking for a passionate and results-driven Senior Software Engineer (Backend) to join our high-performing engineering team. You will play a key role in designing, developing, and delivering robust backend features, collaborating with peers to build scalable systems that power our next-gen products.
Responsibilities
- Architect, design, and implement backend solutions using Java, Spring Boot, and related technologies.
- Deliver high-quality, well-documented code through systematic coding practices and thorough peer reviews.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to translate business requirements into scalable system designs.
- Own features end-to-end from ideation and design to deployment and monitoring.
- Participate in code reviews, mentoring sessions, and technical discussions to elevate team capabilities.
- Maintain technical documentation to ensure clarity, continuity, and ease of future development.
Requirements
- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science (or equivalent experience).
- M-Tech or advanced degree a plus.
- Hackathon participation and accolades are a plus.
- Strong foundation in Data Structures, Algorithms, and system design principles.
- Hands-on experience with Java, Spring Boot, MySQL, MongoDB, and Kafka.
- Experience developing and scaling backend services in distributed environments.
- Familiarity with software engineering best practices, CI/CD pipelines, and version control systems.
- Exposure to Large Language Models (LLMs) or applied AI techniques.
- Strong communication skills with a passion for mentoring and team-building activities.
- Interest or experience in fostering a positive team culture through planning and engagement.
