Job Description

  • 8 to 15 years of Experience in Design & Development of Automotive Interiors Trims (mainly Door Trims Experience)
  • Hands on experience in Catia V5/V6 (V6 experience will be preferred)
  • Concept Development, Master Sections Development, Packaging & Feasibility Study, Tooling & Draft analysis.
  • Solid & Surface Modelling in Catia, Assembly, 2D Drawings, Annotations, B-Side Attachment features, design detailing.
  • Sound knowledge of GD&T, Locators & Fixing Strategy, Gap & Flush, Tolerance Stack up.
  • Sound knowledge of Plastics Part Design, Injection Moulding, Wrapping Processes for interior trims.
  • CAD Data management, Engineering Releases, Changes management (ECR/ECN)
  • Experience with PLM Tools like Team Center, Enovia VPM, WERS, Energyhub, 3DX etc for engineering releases
  • Knowledge of DFMEA process, Craftsmanship & PPAP, CAE analysis
