Senior Software Engineer

Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled individual with extensive experience in software development to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality software solutions. This role requires excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively across teams to achieve project goals.

Responsibilities:

• Provide technical expertise and guidance in software development, ensuring adherence to coding standards.
• Participate actively in grooming calls, offering suggestions and insights to improve project outcomes.
• Communicate effectively across teams to facilitate project progress and unblock stories.
• Review code thoroughly and maintain a deep understanding of what is deployed in production.
• Answer questions regarding any stories on the board and provide estimated time of arrival (ETA) for tasks.

Requirements:

• 5 to 7 years of experience in software development, particularly with Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices.
• Hands-on experience with Docker, Oracle, Jenkins GitLab, Kubernetes, and Cassandra/NoSQL databases.

Required Skills:

• Proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, Docker, Cassandra, SQL/NoSQL databases.
• Experience with GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude, Jenkins GitLab, Kubernetes, Splunk, and Kibana.
• Familiarity with front-end technologies such as Angular or React.js.

Preferred Skills:

• Strong business and technical acumen, with the ability to understand and contribute to deployment processes.
• Ability to review and refine code to ensure high-quality production standards.
