We are looking for a talented and experienced Senior Network Software Engineer to join our team and contribute to the development of our cutting-edge networking products. In this role, you will be a key player in designing, developing, and maintaining our L2/L3 multicast features.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and enhance L2/L3 multicast functionalities for our network devices.
- Implement and optimize protocols such as IGMPv2/v3 and PIM.
- Work with complex network topologies, demonstrating a strong understanding of Designated Router (DR) and Non-DR roles in multicast environments.
- Write high-quality, efficient, and maintainable code primarily in C/C++ and Python.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements, design solutions, and troubleshoot issues.
- Apply strong analytical and problem-solving skills to debug and resolve complex network problems.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in L2/L3 multicast development.
- In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with IGMPv2/v3 and PIM protocols.
- Solid understanding of multicast network topology concepts, including DR and Non-DR roles.
- Proficiency in programming with C/C++ and Python.
- Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
