Senior Software Development Engineer Web VX

Key Responsibilities:

• Feature Development & Ownership:
• Design, develop, and deliver new user-facing features across JioHotstar website and app.
• Ensure technical feasibility of UI/UX designs and implement them efficiently.
• Lead features end-to-end, from concept and design to delivery and optimization.
• Code Quality & Reusability:
• Build reusable components and cross-functional libraries as part of the in-house Design System.
• Conduct code reviews and maintain high coding standards and documentation.
• Create technical documentation, DFDs, and code comments for maintainability.
• Mentorship & Collaboration:
• Mentor junior engineers, providing guidance, coaching, and knowledge sharing.
• Collaborate with product stakeholders to ensure alignment of technical and business objectives.
• Performance & Optimization:
• Optimize web and app performance for devices with limited memory and network constraints.
• Continuously improve the front-end architecture and contribute to pushing web capabilities forward.
• Open Source & Tools:
• Participate in open-source contributions where relevant.
• Utilize version control tools (Git) and front-end build tools (Grunt, Gulp) effectively.
