Job Title: Senior Software Development Engineer in Test
Role Overview:
- As a Senior Software Engineer in Test (Sr. SDET), you will play a critical role in safeguarding the quality of our innovative software solutions. You will leverage your deep understanding of testing methodologies and automation frameworks to design, implement, and maintain comprehensive test suites. Collaborating closely with developers and product owners, you will contribute to a culture of quality and ensure the delivery of robust and high-performing applications.
About the role:
- Designing, developing, and maintaining robust and scalable test automation frameworks.
- Selecting and implementing appropriate automation tools and technologies.
- Ensuring the frameworks efficiency, reusability, and maintainability.
- Contributing to the development of comprehensive test plans and strategies.
- Defining test data requirements and managing test environments.
- Developing automated test scripts for functional, regression, performance, and security testing.
- Executing automated and manual test cases and analyzing test results.
- Identifying, documenting, and tracking software defects.
- Working closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
About You:
- Bachelor or Master Degree in Computer Engineering/ Computer Science with 6-10 years of professional work experience.
- Good knowledge of Cloud platforms Networking protocols such as TCP/IP, HTTP, HTTP2, SSL/TLS
- Good exposure to test frameworks like JUnit, Test NG, Cucumber and mocking frameworks.
- Test, Develop and implement automated tests using Python.
- Experience in any Automation Framework.
- Hands on experience on Robot Framework will be a plus.
- Exposure to Agile development, TDD, and Lean development.
- Experience with AWS Cloud Formation, Cloud watch, SQS, Lambda is a plus.
- Should have excellent debugging, troubleshooting, analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in handling second level support of customer escalations.
- Should be flexible in learning and working with different platforms and technologies.
- Experience with Quality aspects and testing/automation/scripting is desired.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
