How You'll Help Us Keep Climbing (Overview & Key Responsibilities)

Role Summary

You will be a part of the Customer Communication, AI and Automation (CAIA) team, and will play a key role in Delta's Cloud modernization, AI delivery and Customer Experiences. This team develops and manages mission critical applications responsible for inbound customer communication and help them with their journey and provide better traveling experience. The Senior SDET is required to have strong manual and automation testing background on AWS Serverless architecture as well as on containers.

Key Responsibilities

  • As an Senior SDET, you will be responsible for testing a suite of products deployed on AWS Serverless environment as well as on containers.
  • Write automation for regression and end to end testing the code.
  • Build testing pipelines for executing the automation on AWS environments.
  • Understand the airlines business and how IT powers the Airlines domain.

What You Need To Succeed (Minimum Qualifications)

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems or related technical field is preferredExperience in B.E/B.Tech
  • 4-7years of Experience in Automation Testing
  • Test automation of applications from API layer
  • Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using various testing frameworks and tools (e.g., Rest Assured ,Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, BDD Framework, Data Driven Framework).
  • Java, Python and JavaScript, Springboot.
  • API and Microservices testing and automation
  • Oracle, MySQL and/or No SQL databases (Dynamo).
  • Postman, REST Assured, Selenium, Cucumber
  • Designing and writing component level test cases for AWS components such as (Lambda, Event Bridge, Step Functions, etc)
  • Testing Generative AI solution is a strong advantage
  • Test case Management tool - Qtest

  • AWS cloud services exposure - Lambda, Event Bridge, Step Function, s3 bucket, AWS code pipeline, CloudFormation, Elastic bean etc.
  • Generative AI solutions testing and automation.
  • Load, stress, security, accessibility and usability testing.
