Our role is a Developer with core skills including: Python, SQL (Oracle migrating to Postgres), Unix (RHEL), and releases using MS Azure and Ansible.
We're looking for a Software Engineer/Developer to:
- Provide technical expertise and recommendations in assessing new software projects and initiatives to support and enhance our existing applications
- Produce secure and clean code that is stable, operational, consistent, and well-performing
- Conduct code reviews and test software as needed, along with participating in application architecture and design, and other phases of SDLC
- See that proper operational controls and procedures are implemented in production
- Reduce as much as possible the overhead and manual activities by enhancements and automation

Identity and Access Management (IAM) is a global security organization within Technology Services. As an expert in IAM security and internet technologies, you'll be part of our team working closely with the internal project team. We provide privileged access invocation solutions. Our team is global, diverse, and collaborative as we work across organizations to keep our technology, applications, and the businesses they support secure.
Responsibilities
What you'll be doing:
- Develop in Python, as well as SQL (Oracle moving to Postgres)
- Development of privileged access solution for Linux (RHEL) and mainframe
- Work within Azure, leveraging Azure Resource Manager templates, databases, and Load balancing to provide a Privileged Access Management (PAM) solution
- Build and deploy components leveraging automation, such as CI/CD pipelines, to create a scalable environment
- Work within a global team to build a solution that meets the banks security requirements
- Partner with other teams, including the PAM Operations, to deploy, design, and maintain the PAM environment
Mandatory Skills
- Hands-on solid experience with Python (skills in scripting/debugging and modifying (on the server))
- Hands-on solid experience with SQL (Oracle, but moving to Postgres
- expected experience with at least one of these)
- Earlier hands-on experience with Unix / RHEL with an understanding of Linux basics (No advanced skills are required, but you are expected to have basic experience with Linux shell scripting, PowerShell, Bash / Perl. All the Shell scripts were already developed, and there will be a focus on some improvements/automations rather than scripting from scratch. Tasks might involve: Cron jobs setup, File system setup and permissions, Code logging and monitoring.)
- Fundamental experience with Web Development
Nice-to-Have Skills
- Experience with Microsoft Azure and application infrastructure-related activities, including cloud pipelines
- Previous experience with / knowledge of PAM (privileged access management)
- Git/Gitlab (CI/CD)
- Package management (with Ansible or Puppet), service management, network configuration
