Job Description

As a member of the software engineering division, you will leverage Oracle's AI agentic tools and architecture to enable Oracle's transition to a fully AI leveraged and driven company. You will perform high-level design based on provided external specifications. Specify, design and implement minor changes to existing software architecture. Build highly complex enhancements and resolve complex bugs,

Duties and tasks are varied and complex needing independent judgment. Fully competent in own area of expertise. May have project lead role and or supervise junior personnel. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 4 years of software engineering or related experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and support AI-based enterprise applications using modern AI tools and technologies (e.g., AI Agents, Retrieval Augmented Generation [RAG], Managed Cloud Platform [MCP], Large Language Models).
  • Apply classical AI and statistical techniques such as clustering, classification, regression, and probabilistic modeling to support data-driven solutions.
  • Participate in system planning, scheduling, and implementation for enterprise-scale AI applications.
  • Build new product features and/or enhance existing features to automate complex business flows and operations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver innovative AI-driven solutions.
  • Ensure application scalability, reliability, and performance in a cloud environment.
  • Contribute to best practices for development, testing, and deployment of AI applications.

Required AI Technical Skills

  • Exposure to artificial intelligence (AI) concepts and applications
  • Advanced database skills

  • Understanding of Large Language Models (LLMs)

Required Technical Skills

  • Experience with REST and SOAP web services
  • WebLogic administration and troubleshooting
  • Proficiency in at least one programming language (priority: JavaScript, Python, or Java with Spring Boot)
  • Solid understanding of HTML and CSS
  • Basic knowledge of microservices architecture and containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Intermediate-level database skills (e.g., SQL,PL/SQL, query optimization)
  • Basic understanding of OAuth ,mTls and authentication protocols
  • Experience with JSON, XML, XSD, WSDL, and payload transformations (XSLT preferred)
  • Hands-on experience in API design, versioning, throttling, and error handling
  • Experience working with secure file transfers (SFTP, PGP encryption/decryption)
  • Ability to troubleshoot performance bottlenecks across application, database, and integration layers

Required Functional Skills

  • Knowledge in Fusion ERP, Sales Cloud, Customer Data, Ordering.
  • Familiarity with Scrum methodologies
  • Ability to translate business requirements into technical and integration designs
  • Experience collaborating with functional consultants, business users, and external partners
  • Strong documentation skills for solution design, APIs, and operational runbooks

Desirable Technical Skills

  • Experience with integration tools (e.g., OIC , SOA Suite)
  • Strong hands-on experience with Java, including building and deploying Java-based services on container platforms
  • Experience or exposure to Oracle Kubernetes Engine (OKE) for deploying, scaling, and managing Java-based microservices
  • Familiarity with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), including Object Storage, OCI Streaming Service (OSS), IAM policies, compartments, and secure credential management.
  • Oracle JavaScript Extension Toolkit (OJET) or Visual Builder/Apex
  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, version control, and deployment automation to streamline development and operations workflows
  • UI/UX design skills, with the ability to create intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • BE/B.Tech/MCA/M.Tech from reputed institution
  • A minimum of 3-5years Oracle Experience

Work with Oracle's world class technology to develop, implement, and support Oracle's global infrastructure.

As a member of the IT organization, assist with the analysis of existing complex programs and formulate logic for new complex internal systems. Prepare flowcharting, perform coding, and test/debug programs. Develop conversion and system implementation plans. Recommend changes to development, maintenance, and system standards.

Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. BS or equivalent experience in programming on enterprise or department servers or systems.
