Job Description

We are looking for a talented and motivated Software Developer (IC3) to help drive OHAI's innovative healthcare and AI projects. As an integral member of our team, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining products with real-world impact in healthcare.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with product managers, designers, and engineers to design, develop, test, and deploy high-quality software.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following Oracle and industry best practices.
  • Participate in code reviews, contribute to technical discussions, and ensure high standards for performance, reliability, and security.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues as they arise, collaborating across teams as necessary.
  • Contribute to the team's continuous improvement culture by innovating on development processes and sharing knowledge.
  • Document technical designs, implementation choices, and user-facing features to support team understanding and product sustainability.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant healthcare regulations and Oracle's security and privacy standards.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Minimum of 4 years professional experience in software development.
  • Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Java, Python, or similar.
  • Solid understanding of software engineering fundamentals, such as data structures, algorithms, and design patterns.
  • Experience with version control and collaborative development (e.g., Git, Agile).
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
  • Experience in health IT, AI/ML, or cloud platforms is a plus.
