Senior Site Technician Water Systems

Akvo designs and deploys atmospheric water generation machines that produce drinking water directly from air. Our machines are installed at commercial, industrial, institutional, and hospitality sites across India and abroad.

We are looking for a Senior Site Technician who can independently handle installation support, servicing, breakdowns, and routine maintenance of Akvo machines at customer sites.

This is a field-first role.

You will be responsible for:

• Visiting customer sites across Bengaluru and nearby regions
• Servicing and maintaining Akvo machines
• Troubleshooting electrical, mechanical, and basic electronic issues
• Ensuring machines run reliably post-installation

You are expected to be hands-on, reliable, and comfortable working on-site.

• Perform routine servicing and preventive maintenance of machines.
• Attend breakdown calls and restore machines to working condition.

Diagnose issues related to:

• Electrical components
• Motors, pumps, compressors
• Sensors and control panels
• Replace faulty parts and ensure proper fitment.

• Support installation teams during new deployments.
• Assist in commissioning and testing of machines at site.
• Coordinate with project and factory teams when required.

• Identify root causes of faults and recurring issues.
• Share clear feedback with internal teams (what failed, why, how).
• Maintain basic service records and site visit logs.

• Coordinate with client facility staff during service visits.
• Ensure safety practices are followed at all sites.
• Maintain professional behaviour at customer locations.

• ITI / Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical, Refrigeration, or related field

3+ years hands-on experience in:

• Industrial equipment servicing
• Electrical or electromechanical systems
• Ability to read basic wiring diagrams
• Comfortable using tools, meters, and hand equipment
• Willingness to travel daily to sites across Bengaluru
• Valid two-wheeler license preferred

• Experience with HVAC, water systems, RO plants, chillers, or compressors
• Basic understanding of control panels and sensors
• Experience working at commercial or industrial sites
