Senior Site Reliability Engineer

Required Skills and Experience:

1. Bachelors or masters in computer science or related discipline or equivalent

practical experience.

2. Deep expertise in Cloud Computing. This role requires at least 3 to 5 years of

hands-on experience in Microsoft Azure or AWS.

3. Strong hands-on experience on Infrastructure as Code(IaC) tools like

Terraform, ARM, Bicep, CloudFormation etc. At least 3 to 5 years of

experience preferred.

4. Proficiency in scripting languages including but not limited to Python, Go,

PowerShell and Shell scripts. You should be comfortable working with Azure/

AWS libraries and packages.

5. Deep knowledge on Image Life-Cycle Management, Vulnerability

Management and Update Management. Hands-on experience on packer and

ansible or other configuration management tools.

6. Hands-on experience working on Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions. An ideal

candidate will be familiar with GitOps and DevSecOps terminologies.

7. Good understanding of Object Oriented Programming. (Any programming

language of your preference.)

8. Good understanding of containerization principles and tools including docker

and Kubernetes.

9. Deep understanding of Linux and Windows operating systems.

10.Familiarity with software delivery methodologies(like Agile/Scrum).

Good to Have:

1. Data Analysis and Visualisation skills including knowledge on PowerBI etc.

2. Fundamental understanding of AI. Understanding of agentic workflows, MCP,

RAG etc.

3. Knowledge of container monitoring and alerting solutions. (Grafana,

Prometheus etc)

4. Knowledge of relational and non-relational databases.

5. Fundamental understanding of computer networking.

6. Familiarity with IDEs and coding assistants.

7. Familiarity with platform engineering concepts including but not limited to

golden paths, scorecards, orchestrators and operators.

8. Experience working on ART ways of working(SAFe).

9. Experience working on test driven development.

10.Familiarity with CIS benchmarks.

11. Knowledge of Wiz or other cyber security tools is an added advantage.
