Description:

The Senior ServiceNow Developer is responsible for designing, developing, configuring, and

maintaining solutions on the ServiceNow platform. This role provides technical leadership,

drives platform best practices, and collaborates with cross-functional teams to implement

scalable and secure ServiceNow applications. The ideal candidate has deep expertise across

multiple ServiceNow products, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to translate business

requirements into technical solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Platform Architecture & Development
  • Design, develop, and implement complex ServiceNow solutions using Flow Designer,
  • Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Policies, Script Includes, Integrations, and custom
  • applications.
  • Lead technical design for enhancements across modules such as ITSM, CMDB, Asset or
  • others as required.
  • Develop and maintain ServiceNow catalog items, workflows, record producers, and
  • custom applications following platform best practices.
  • Integrations
  • Build and support integrations with external systems using REST/SOAP APIs, MID
  • Server, IntegrationHub, web services, and authentication methods like OAuth and
  • SAML.
  • Troubleshoot integration failures and optimize performance.
  • Platform Administration & Governance
  • Maintain and enhance platform performance, security, ACLs, roles, and access controls.
  • Lead upgrade planning, clone management, and regression testing.
  • Ensure development follows ServiceNow coding standards, scope separation, and
  • governance frameworks.

Required Qualifications:

  • 6+ years of hands-on ServiceNow development experience.
  • Strong understanding of JavaScript, AngularJS, Glide API, and general web
  • technologies.
  • Expertise in multiple ServiceNow modules like ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, CSM, SecOps.
  • (ITSM is required; others a plus).
  • Experience with Service Portal, Workspace, and UI Builder.
  • Proven experience integrating ServiceNow with third-party tools.
  • Strong understanding of relational databases, CMDB, and data models.
  • Familiarity with ITIL concepts and enterprise IT processes.
  • Excellent communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
