Job Description:
Experienced Senior ServiceNow Developer with strong expertise in ITOM (Discovery, Service Mapping, Event Management) and ITAM Hardware Asset Management (HAM).
Skilled in REST/SOAP integrations, CMDB management, MID Server, and ServiceNow scripting (JavaScript, Glide API, Flow Designer).
Holds CSA certification with solid knowledge of ITSM processes and a focus on scalable, integration-driven solutions.
Qualification & Certification:
- Design, develop, and implement solutions on the ServiceNow platform with focus on Integration, ITOM, and ITAM Hardware Asset Management (HAM)
- Develop and maintain REST/SOAP integrations with enterprise systems such as monitoring tools, CMDB sources, procurement systems, and third-party applications.
- Configure and customize modules including ITOM (Discovery, Service Mapping, Event Management) and ITAM HAM.
- Build and maintain CMDB data models, discovery patterns, and integrations to ensure accurate configuration and asset data.
- Develop Script Includes, Business Rules, Flow Designer flows, UI Policies, and Client Scripts to support automation and platform capabilities.
- Support implementation and enhancement of ITSM processes including Incident, Problem, Change, and Request Management.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design scalable and secure ServiceNow solutions aligned with business needs.
- Participate in code reviews, platform upgrades, and performance optimization activities.
- Maintain documentation and ensure adherence to ServiceNow development best practices and governance standards.
Required Skills:
- Strong experience as a ServiceNow Developer.
- Hands-on experience with Integration (REST, SOAP, MID Server integrations).
- Implementation experience in ITOM modules such as Discovery, Event Management, and Service Mapping.
- Experience with ITAM Hardware Asset Management (HAM) including asset lifecycle, procurement, and normalization.
- Strong knowledge of JavaScript, Glide API, Flow Designer, IntegrationHub, and ServiceNow scripting frameworks.
- Experience working with CMDB architecture and data governance.
Certifications:
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA)
- ServiceNow CIS-ITSM (Certified Implementation Specialist ITSM)
- ServiceNow CIS-SPM (Certified Implementation Specialist Strategic Portfolio Management)
- Experience supporting ITSM processes and workflows.
- Strong problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills.
