Responsibilities / Tasks
- Conduct schedule customer visits and sales calls for enquiry generation, customer interaction, market evaluation, Service product promotion for Chemical and Environment Business
- Maintain and develop close relationship with key customers.
- Ensure timely submission of quotation/tenders (including technical data, scope matrix and KPIs) as per the commitments set forth by the sales team to the customer, both for liquid and powder project enquiries.
- Ensure accuracy of cost estimation with a variance of ± 2% of the budgeted transfer price shared to project.
- Build relationship and ensure close coordination with concerned CoC (Centre of Competence) and various internal departments of E&I, Automation, Plant Engineering etc.
- Conducting plant audit for existing setup before submitting offer to customer.
- Derive competitive estimation model of service projects, Spare parts, maintenance contracts and ensuring required profit margins and lead time,
- Prepare enquiry specification and evaluate vendor offer in line with the customer requirement.
- Provide support to GEA legal team on contracts.
- Participate in technical and commercial customer meetings required for deal closure.
- Manage post order activities and ensure on-time submission of documents required to release down-payment from the customer.
- Resolving any problems with the team, plans and budget to ensure that the project flows smoothly.
- Maintaining HSE Standards & all Compliance Driven policies.
Your Profile / Qualifications
B.E./ B Tech Chemical Engineering with 5 - 8 years of experience
