Experience:

• 6-8 years of hands-on experience in VFD commissioning and troubleshooting
• Experience in HVAC systems or Building Management Systems (BMS)

Qualification: Diploma / B.Tech (Electrical / Electronics / Instrumentation)

About the Role:

We are looking for a highly skilled Service Engineer / Assistant Manager with strong hands-on experience in VFD systems, HVAC controls, and industrial automation. The role involves commissioning, troubleshooting, and supporting service operations across client sites, ensuring system reliability and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

1. VFD Service & Commissioning

Installation, testing, and commissioning of Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs) across HVAC and industrial applications

Diagnose and troubleshoot faults (low/high voltage, communication errors, performance issues)

Configure and optimize drive parameters for performance and energy efficiency

Work with leading VFD brands such as ABB, Siemens, Danfoss, Schneider, Delta, etc.

2. Controls & Automation

Hands-on experience with PLC, DDC, and BMS controllers

Understand and implement HVAC control logic (AHU, pumps, cooling towers, etc.)

Perform basic programming/modification of control sequences (preferred)

Integrate VFDs with BMS/PLC systems using protocols like Modbus and BACnet

3. Site Execution & Support

Attend service calls and breakdowns within defined turnaround time (TAT)

Support project teams during commissioning and system handover

Coordinate with clients and provide on-site technical support

Prepare detailed service reports and maintain documentation

4. Electrical & System Knowledge

Strong understanding of electrical panels, wiring, and safety practices

Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and control schematics

Knowledge of sensors, actuators, and field instrumentation

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Diploma / B.Tech in Electrical, Electronics, or Instrumentation

6-8 years of hands-on experience in VFD commissioning and troubleshooting

Working knowledge of PLC/DDC controllers

Familiarity with industrial communication protocols (Modbus, BACnet preferred)

Ability to read electrical drawings and logic diagrams

Preferred Skills:

Experience in HVAC systems or Building Management Systems (BMS)

Exposure to PLC/DDC programming

Experience in energy optimization using VFDs

OEM certifications or training on drives/controllers (added advantage)
