Designation - Senior Window Server Admin ( Senior Server Admin)

Job Responsibilities.
- IIS Administration:
- Manage and configure Internet Information Services (IIS) for web application hosting.
- Monitor and troubleshoot IIS performance issues.
- Ensure security best practices for IIS servers.
- Server Administration:
- Install, configure, and maintain Windows servers.
- Perform routine server performance tuning and maintenance.
- Implement and manage server backup and recovery solutions.
- Database Administration:
- Manage database servers, ensuring high availability and performance.
- Perform database backups, migrations, and restorations.
- Monitor and optimize database systems.
- Cloud Server and Infrastructure Management:
- Manage cloud-based servers and services (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
- Oversee infrastructure provisioning, monitoring, and scaling.
- Implement and manage disaster recovery solutions for cloud systems.
- Patch Management:
- Apply regular patches and updates to Windows server.
- Ensure patch compliance and document update processes.
- Mitigate vulnerabilities by promptly addressing security updates.
- Networking and Security:
- Maintain knowledge of TCP/IP, security protocols, and networking principles.
- Configure and manage firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection systems.
- Conduct periodic security audits and penetration tests.
- Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain detailed documentation of server configurations, policies, and procedures.
- Provide regular status reports and analysis to management.
- Assist in creating disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
- Vendor Management:
- Coordinate with IT security vendors and cloud service providers.
- Evaluate vendor performance and manage service-level agreements (SLAs).
Qualifications
- Min. Bachelor's /master's degree in technology

Required Skills
- Proficiency in IIS configuration and management.
- Strong knowledge of Windows server administration.
- Hands-on experience with database management (SQL Server, MySQL, etc.).

- Strong understanding of security protocols, TCP/IP and networking concepts.
- Proven experience in IIS administration and server management (Windows).
- Strong understanding of database administration principles.
- Expertise in patch management for Windows environments.
- Excellent vendor management and negotiation skills.
- Problem-solving mindset and ability to work independently.
Mandatory Skills
AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
