Role Overview
We are seeking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to join our Noida team. This role offers an opportunity to work on advanced automation initiatives across AI-driven healthcare products. The ideal candidate has strong programming foundations, a passion for building scalable automation frameworks, and a keen eye for quality across web, API, and data systems.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain clean, scalable automation scripts using Java, Python, or JavaScript.
- Build and enhance test automation frameworks for Web, API, and data pipeline testing.
- Integrate automated tests within CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins or GitHub Actions.
- Perform backend validation and data testing using SQL queries of medium complexity.
- Debug, analyze, and troubleshoot issues across backend, API, and data layers.
- Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and QA teams to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
- Participate in root cause analysis and drive process improvements for quality assurance.
- Support functional, regression, smoke, and data validation testing cycles.
- Maintain detailed documentation of automation coverage, execution results, and improvements.
- Stay updated with emerging tools, technologies, and best practices in software quality engineering.
- Document architecture, processes, and incident responses to support operational excellence.
Desired Skills & Experience
- Relevant 35 years of experience in QA Automation / SDET roles.
- Strong programming expertise in Java, Python, or JavaScript.
- Hands-on experience with automation tools like Selenium, PyTest, REST Assured, or Playwright.
- Knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar.
- Solid understanding of SQL for backend and data testing.
- Strong debugging skills and proficiency in root cause analysis.
- Familiarity with Git workflows and version control systems.
- Bonus: Experience with performance or security testing (JMeter, ZAP), BDD tools (Cucumber), or cloud/container platforms (AWS, Docker).
- Excellent communication, analytical thinking, and collaboration abilities.
- Strong sense of ownership and ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
