Role Overview
We're hiring a Senior Full-Stack Engineer who can architect, build and own end-to-end product modules across web and mobile. You'll work closely with founders and senior engineers to ship scalable features, mentor engineers, and help shape product & technical direction.
This is a high-impact role for someone who has built multiple real products (web + app), thrives in startup environments, and wants ownership.
What you'll own
- Architect, design, and develop scalable full-stack features (React + Node.js) for web and mobile.
- Lead delivery of critical modules from design to production and own post-release stability & performance.
- Build and maintain APIs, DB schemas (MongoDB), and integrations (Firebase, third-party services).
- Implement CI/CD, deployments (Vercel, AWS), monitoring, and best-practice devops workflows.
- Contribute to native mobile work as required (React Native + Native iOS/Android bridges). Native iOS experience is a strong plus.
- Mentor engineers, review code, drive best practices in testing, documentation, and releases.
- Use AI tools to accelerate development, testing, and docs.
- Collaborate with Product, Design, Growth, and Community teams to deliver business outcomes.
Must-have (core skills & experience)
- 35 years of professional experience building production systems (startups preferred).
- Strong frontend expertise: React.js, component design, state management, performance optimization.
- Backend & API skills: Node.js, Express (or similar), REST/GraphQL.
- Database experience: MongoDB (schema design, indexing, queries).
- Proven experience building multiple web & mobile projects (deliverables, public apps or GitHub repos you can share).
- Comfortable with deployment & hosting: Vercel, AWS (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda) or equivalent.
- Practical knowledge of CI/CD, automated testing, monitoring, and release processes.
- Solid Git workflows, code reviews, and team collaboration.
- Strong debugging, problem-solving,g and production incident handling skills.
- Startup mindset: ownership, bias for action, and willingness to work across the stack.
Nice-to-have (differentiators)
- React Native and/or native iOS (Swift) development experience.
- DevOps experience: Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes, AWS native services.
- Experience with Firebase (Auth, Firestore) and mobile publishing (App Store / Play Store).
- TypeScript proficiency.
- Experience with analytics, A/B testing, and performance monitoring tools.
- Experience mentoring teams or leading small engineering squads.

- Use of AI tools (GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT/Code Interpreter, Cursor) for efficiency is encouraged.
