Job Title: Senior SAP SD / O2C Process Expert (S/4HANA)(G 3)
Role Overview
We are looking for a Senior SAP SD / Order-to-Cash (O2C) Process Expert to lead end-to-end S/4HANA implementations and global rollout projects. This role involves process template design, business requirement analysis, system rollout, integration, user training, testing, data migration, and post-go-live support. The consultant will work closely with business stakeholders, cross-functional teams, and technical experts to deliver scalable and standardized SAP O2C solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Implementation & Process Design
- Act as process expert in designing and deploying SAP project process templates
- Lead end-to-end SAP SD / O2C implementations in S/4HANA, including global rollouts
- Gather, document, and analyze business requirements from stakeholders
- Propose process improvements aligned with template standards
- Identify and bridge gaps between global templates and local business needs
Rollout & Deployment- Conduct system gap assessments and business workshops
- Guide business users on adopting standardized template processes
- Define and support custom requirement deployment where necessary
- Collaborate on data migration strategy including:
- Field mapping
- Transformation rules
- Validation of migrated data (Sales Orders, Pricing, Billing, Master Data, etc.)
Integration & Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Ensure seamless integration of SAP O2C with MM, FI, and WM/EWM modules
- Coordinate with functional, technical, and design teams for solution delivery
- Define plant rollout scope and support localization where required
Testing & Go-Live Support
- Prepare and localize test cases for integration testing and UAT
- Support business users during test cycles and defect resolution
- Execute cutover tasks and provide inputs to cutover planning
- Provide hypercare support post go-live
Training & Documentation
- Train key users and prepare training datasets and demos
- Develop user manuals, process documentation, and training materials
- Maintain reusable project documentation repositories
Process Improvement
- Support business-driven process improvement initiatives
- Translate business requests into functional specifications
- Coordinate with technical teams through unit testing and deployment
- Mentor junior and senior consultants to build delivery capability
Project & Stakeholder Management
- Communicate effectively with business and technical stakeholders
- Manage timelines aligned with project roadmaps
- Collaborate across cross-functional teams
- Handle conflict resolution during project execution
Must-Have Skills & Experience- 7+ years of SAP SD / O2C relevant experience
- Strong expertise in SAP S/4HANA Order-to-Cash processes
- Minimum 2 full end-to-end SAP implementations in SD/O2C
- Hands-on experience in global template rollout projects
- Deep knowledge of:
- Sales Order Processing
- Pricing & Billing
- Credit Management
- Business Partner & Customer Master
- Experience in data migration validation and cutover activities
- Strong integration knowledge with MM, FI, and WM/EWM
- Experience conducting workshops, UAT support, and user training
- Ability to prepare functional specifications and process documentation
- Strong stakeholder communication and presentation skills
Nice-to-Have Skills
- Experience in process standardization and template governance
- Exposure to automation or improvement initiatives in O2C
- Knowledge of SAP testing tools or test management frameworks
- Experience working in multicultural/global project environments
- Prior experience mentoring consultants or leading functional tracks
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Technology, or Computer Applications
- SAP SD/O2C certification (preferred)
