Job Title: Senior SAP SD Consultant (S/4HANA)Job ObjectiveWe are seeking an experienced Senior SAP SD Consultant with strong expertise in SAP S/4HANA Sales & Distribution and working knowledge of Customer Service (CS) processes. The role will be responsible for leading SAP SD support and project initiatives, ensuring SLA adherence, delivering high-quality solutions, and driving continuous process improvement.
Key ResponsibilitiesLeadership & Delivery- Lead the SAP SD functional team for both support and project engagements
- Ensure adherence to SLAs for all SAP SD incidents, service requests, and change requests
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate requirements into SAP solutions
- Coordinate with third-party vendors to ensure quality and timely project delivery
Support & Operations- Monitor, manage, and resolve SAP SD-related tickets in the ITSM tool within defined SLAs
- Handle incidents, service requests, and change requests across SAP SD processes
- Perform root cause analysis and implement preventive measures
Project & Change Management- Participate in requirement gathering and solution design workshops
- Configure SAP S/4HANA SD solutions aligned with business needs
- Support deployment activities, including testing and release coordination
- Develop functional specifications for forms, reports, interfaces, and enhancements
Reporting & Governance- Prepare and present weekly and monthly status and KPI reports to management
- Track key performance indicators and identify improvement opportunities
- Ensure compliance with SAP documentation and audit requirements
Process Improvement & Documentation- Support automation and process improvement initiatives
- Create and maintain business process documents, SOPs, cookbooks, and process maps
- Establish and maintain standardized SAP documentation practices
Required Qualifications & Skills- Minimum 7+ years of SAP experience, with strong expertise in SD
- Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA Sales & Distribution
- Working knowledge or exposure to Customer Service (CS) processes
- Experience in incident management, change management, and SLA-driven support environments
- Strong experience in configuration, testing, and functional specification development
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and team leadership skills
- Ability to work collaboratively across business and technical teams
Preferred Qualifications- Experience in the Pharmaceutical or Manufacturing industries
- Exposure to process automation initiatives within the SAP landscape
- Experience working with third-party vendors and managed services teams
