Job Description

Job Title: Senior SAP SD Consultant (S/4HANA)

Job Objective

We are seeking an experienced Senior SAP SD Consultant with strong expertise in SAP S/4HANA Sales & Distribution and working knowledge of Customer Service (CS) processes. The role will be responsible for leading SAP SD support and project initiatives, ensuring SLA adherence, delivering high-quality solutions, and driving continuous process improvement.

Key ResponsibilitiesLeadership & Delivery
  • Lead the SAP SD functional team for both support and project engagements
  • Ensure adherence to SLAs for all SAP SD incidents, service requests, and change requests
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate requirements into SAP solutions
  • Coordinate with third-party vendors to ensure quality and timely project delivery

Support & Operations
  • Monitor, manage, and resolve SAP SD-related tickets in the ITSM tool within defined SLAs
  • Handle incidents, service requests, and change requests across SAP SD processes
  • Perform root cause analysis and implement preventive measures

Project & Change Management
  • Participate in requirement gathering and solution design workshops
  • Configure SAP S/4HANA SD solutions aligned with business needs
  • Support deployment activities, including testing and release coordination
  • Develop functional specifications for forms, reports, interfaces, and enhancements

Reporting & Governance
  • Prepare and present weekly and monthly status and KPI reports to management
  • Track key performance indicators and identify improvement opportunities
  • Ensure compliance with SAP documentation and audit requirements

Process Improvement & Documentation
  • Support automation and process improvement initiatives
  • Create and maintain business process documents, SOPs, cookbooks, and process maps
  • Establish and maintain standardized SAP documentation practices

Required Qualifications & Skills
  • Minimum 7+ years of SAP experience, with strong expertise in SD
  • Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA Sales & Distribution
  • Working knowledge or exposure to Customer Service (CS) processes
  • Experience in incident management, change management, and SLA-driven support environments
  • Strong experience in configuration, testing, and functional specification development
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and team leadership skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively across business and technical teams

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in the Pharmaceutical or Manufacturing industries
  • Exposure to process automation initiatives within the SAP landscape
  • Experience working with third-party vendors and managed services teams
