Job Description:
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) Planning Consultant to lead the design, development, and implementation of SAC Planning solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong functional and technical expertise in SAC, specifically with Planning Models, Data Actions, Forecasting, and Integration with S/4HANA or BW.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and development of SAP SAC Planning solutions.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather planning requirements and translate them into SAC Planning models.
- Create advanced data models, stories, and dashboards in SAC.
- Build and configure data actions, allocations, value driver trees, and forecasting models.
- Integrate SAC Planning with SAP S/4HANA, BW/4HANA, or other external data sources.
- Conduct unit testing, system testing, and support user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Deliver training to business users and provide post-go-live support.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams including finance, IT, and data engineering.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Minimum 6+ years of experience in SAP BI/Planning solutions.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) Planning.
- Strong expertise in planning functionalities: data actions, allocations, advanced formulas, input controls, version management, etc.
- Experience in SAP BW, BPC Embedded, S/4HANA integration with SAC.
- Solid understanding of finance and planning processes (budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis).
- Proficient in data modeling, story building, and visualizations in SAC.
- Strong communication and client-facing skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in SAP BPC (Standard or Embedded) is a plus.
- Knowledge of Predictive Planning and Smart Predict in SAC.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- SAP SAC certification is an advantage.
