Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Senior SAP MM (Materials Management) Functional Consultant with 10+ years of experience in SAP implementations, rollouts, and support projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for analyzing business requirements, configuring SAP MM modules, and optimizing procurement and inventory management processes. The role requires strong expertise in Procure-to-Pay (P2P) processes, integration with other SAP modules, and experience working in SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into effective SAP MM functional solutions.
- Configure and customize SAP MM modules including Procurement, Inventory Management, and Invoice Verification.
- Manage and optimize Procure-to-Pay (P2P) processes.
- Handle end-to-end SAP implementations, rollouts, upgrades, and support projects.
- Work closely with business stakeholders to understand procurement and supply chain requirements.
- Ensure seamless integration with SAP modules such as SD, FI, and WM.
- Perform system configuration, testing (Unit Testing, Integration Testing), and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Provide production support, troubleshoot issues, and ensure resolution within defined SLA timelines.
- Prepare functional specifications for RICEFW objects (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms, Workflows).
- Support data migration activities and master data management including Vendors, Materials, Purchasing Info Records, and Source Lists.
- Collaborate with technical teams for custom developments and enhancements.
- Conduct user training sessions and prepare functional documentation.
Required Skills & Expertise
- Strong expertise in SAP MM configuration and business processes.
- Deep understanding of Procurement processes:
- Purchase Requisition (PR)
- Request for Quotation (RFQ)
- Purchase Orders (PO)
- Contracts & Scheduling Agreements
- Expertise in Inventory Management processes:
- Goods Receipt (GR)
- Goods Issue (GI)
- Stock Transfers
- Physical Inventory
- Experience in Invoice Verification and vendor payment processes.
- Hands-on experience with SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA.
- Strong knowledge of P2P (Procure-to-Pay) lifecycle.
- Experience with integration with SAP FI, SD, and other logistics modules.
- Knowledge of SAP Fiori and S/4HANA procurement functionalities is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Technology, Supply Chain, or related field.
- SAP MM certification is preferred.
- Minimum 10+ years of SAP MM functional experience including at least 23 full lifecycle implementations.
Preferred Experience
- Experience working in global SAP rollout projects.
- Knowledge of S/4HANA migration or transformation projects.
- Exposure to procurement automation and process optimization.
