Senior Sap IBP Manager

The role focuses on supporting and delivering SAP IBP and APO project activities for large-scale multinational SAP programs. The position involves hands-on project management support, SAP IBP/APO configuration, integration, documentation, and end-to-end implementation lifecycle activities from an offshore delivery model.

Key Responsibilities

• Support project management activities for large-scale multinational SAP support and implementation projects.
• Assist in project initiation, cost tracking, quality monitoring, resource coordination, risk tracking, and status reporting from offshore.
• Use project management tools such as SAP Solution Manager, Microsoft Project, and JIRA to track and manage project activities.
• Apply ITIL concepts including Service Value System and Four Dimensions Model within SAP support environments.
• Configure and support SAP IBP modules including IBP for S&OP, Demand, Supply, Inventory, Supply & Response, and Control Tower.
• Perform hands-on configuration and solution delivery for SAP APO DP and related planning components.
• Support integration between SAP IBP and source systems using HCI/SDI and other integration tools.
• Prepare Process Definition Documents, Design Documents, and Business Process Procedures for implemented solutions.
• Create business process flows using Microsoft Visio for proposed and to-be processes.
• Support integration of SAP DP with other SAP APO modules and external systems.
• Participate in testing phases including unit testing, cycle testing, and integration testing.
• Prepare user manuals and provide post-go-live user support.
• Support ECC production planning and S/4HANA enterprise management activities when required.
• Interact regularly with onsite teams and clients, providing structured daily and weekly status updates.
• Support blueprint workshops by preparing presentation decks and solution walkthroughs.
• Apply end-to-end process knowledge for upstream and downstream data modeling in planning solutions.

Knowledge & Experience Required

• 11 to 16 years of hands-on experience in project management for SAP programs.
• Strong understanding of SAP IBP planning models and APO DP configuration.
• Experience with SAP BW modeling and planning area configuration.
• Exposure to SAP implementation methodologies and full project lifecycles.
• Understanding of integration with TPM and other SAP modules is an added advantage.
