Role Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled SAP Hybris (SAP Commerce Cloud) Developer with strong Java expertise and deep experience in designing, developing, and implementing enterprise-scale e-commerce solutions. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in Hybris Commerce Suite modules, Spring framework, web services integration, cloud deployments, and CI/CD-driven DevOps practices.

This role involves working closely with solution architects, functional consultants, DevOps teams, and business stakeholders to deliver scalable, high-performance commerce platforms.

Key Responsibilities

1 Java Development & Core Platform Engineering

• Develop and customize SAP Hybris components using Java (Java 8 or higher).
• Implement business logic within Hybris Service Layer and DAO Layer.
• Write clean, maintainable, and performance-optimized Java code.
• Design object-oriented solutions adhering to enterprise coding standards.
• Perform unit testing using JUnit and Mockito.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex backend performance issues.

SAP Hybris Commerce Suite Expertise

• Work extensively with Hybris core modules including:
• Product Content Management (PCM)
• Catalog & Classification Management
• Order Management System (OMS)
• Promotions & Pricing Engine
• Cart & Checkout
• Customer & User Management
• Customize items.xml and manage type system extensions.
• Create and manage Impex scripts for data import/export.
• Configure and optimize FlexibleSearch queries.
• Configure Solr indexing and search optimization.

Spring Framework & Application Architecture

• Develop applications using Spring Framework (Core, MVC, Security).
• Implement dependency injection, AOP, and transaction management.

Web Services & Integration

• Design and develop RESTful and SOAP APIs.
• Work with OCC (OmniCommerce Connect) APIs for headless commerce.
• Integrate SAP Commerce with:
• SAP S/4HANA / SAP ECC
• CRM systems
• Payment gateways
• Logistics/3PL systems
• Third-party product information systems
• Develop and consume APIs using JSON/XML.
• Implement authentication and authorization (OAuth, JWT).
• Handle asynchronous integrations and message queues where applicable.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 410 years of experience in Java development.
• 3+ years of experience in SAP Hybris / SAP Commerce.
• Strong knowledge of:
• Java 8+
• Spring Framework
• SAP Commerce architecture
• REST/SOAP APIs
• Cloud deployment models
• Experience in Agile/Scrum environments.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Spartacus (Angular-based storefront).
• Knowledge of microservices architecture.
• Experience with SAP CPI integration.
• Familiarity with Kubernetes.
• Exposure to B2B Commerce Accelerator.
• Knowledge of SAP Order Management integration.
