We are seeking an experienced SAP FICO Consultant to support the Finance Center of Expertise team. This role focuses on delivering SAP FI/CO solutions, supporting financial processes, and ensuring smooth operations within the finance systems landscape.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze business requirements and design corresponding SAP FI/CO solutions.
- Configure and implement SAP FI (GL, AP, AR, AA, Bank Accounting) and CO (Cost Centers, Profit Centers, Internal Orders, Product Costing, COPA).
- Support SAP S/4HANA Finance processes and integration with other modules (MM, SD, PP, HCM).
- Ensure compliance with Indian GST and Income Tax processes.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Troubleshoot and resolve SAP application issues as a subject matter expert.
- Prepare documentation including functional specs, test scripts, and training materials.
- Support SAP rollout projects, upgrades, enhancements, and interface-related activities (EDI/IDocs).
- Provide post-implementation support and user training.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or master's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Information Technology.
- 10 years of SAP FICO experience, including at least one end-to-end implementation.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and finance/controlling processes.
- Experience with S/4HANA Finance preferred.
- Strong understanding of FI/CO integration with SD, MM, and PP modules.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Experience in manufacturing or FMCG industries is a plus.
- ABAP debugging skills are an added advantage.
