We are seeking a Senior SAP FI/CO Consultant with strong experience in General Ledger, financial close, and financial reporting. The role involves endtoend ownership of SAP FI processes, participation in implementations and enhancements, and close collaboration with business and technical teams. Knowledge of BI/BCS, BlackLine, and MDG is preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support SAP FI/CO processes with primary focus on General Ledger
- Configure and maintain profit centers and hierarchies
- Perform tax configuration (US and/or regional requirements)
- Support document splitting, nonleading ledgers, substitutions, and validations
- Manage functional area usage and account determination
- Support financial operations including currency revaluation and translation
- Drive monthend and yearend close activities and financial consolidations
- Handle intercompany processing and internal order settlements
- Participate in full lifecycle implementations, enhancements, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Prepare functional specifications and execute test plans
- Promote changes to production following defined methodologies
- Work closely with crossfunctional and technical teams to ensure stable solutions
Accounts Payable Experience
- Handson ECC 6.0 AP configuration experience including:
- Vendor master data setup
- Invoice processing
- Payment processing
- Electronic Bank Statements
- Strong integration knowledge between AP and GL
- Experience working with banks
Fixed Assets Experience
- ECC 6.0 Fixed Assets configuration and support
- Strong understanding of Fixed Assets accounting processes
- Indepth knowledge of FAGL integration
- Ownership of monthend and yearend Fixed Assets close activities
Required Skills and Experience
- Approximately 10+ years of SAP FI/CO experience
- Minimum 23 full project lifecycle implementations
- Strong handson experience with ECC 6.0 New GL configuration
- Solid knowledge of Financial Accounting and Financial Reporting
- Experience in production support and change management
- Strong analytical and problemsolving skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
Strongly Preferred
- Functional experience with MDG and/or BlackLine
- Treasury Management exposure (Kyriba, FIS, or SAP Treasury module)
- Working knowledge of Business Intelligence (BI/BO), including report validation and testing
- Experience with Taxware
- Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, and related tools

- Experience with SEMBCS design, development, support, and interfaces
- Exposure to SAP Security functions
- Experience working on custom interfaces and enhancements
- Experience supporting SAP technical upgrades
