Senior SAP Developer

We're Hiring: SAP RAP Senior Developer / Architect — India-Based

One of our clients is seeking an experienced SAP RAP Senior Developer / Architect to design and deliver enterprise-grade applications across SAP S/4HANA and SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP).

This offshore role is ideal for a senior SAP professional who can lead solution architecture, modernize legacy developments, mentor technical teams, and establish scalable, upgrade-stable solutions aligned with SAP Clean Core principles.

Location: India

Experience: 12+ years in SAP ABAP, including 3+ years of hands-on SAP RAP development

Key responsibilities:

• Design end-to-end applications using SAP RAP

• Build Managed and Unmanaged RAP Business Objects

• Develop CDS Views, Behavior Definitions and Implementations, Service Definitions, and Service Bindings

• Create transactional SAP Fiori Elements applications and OData V4 services

• Implement validations, determinations, actions, draft handling, and authorization controls

• Design cloud-ready and side-by-side extensions on SAP BTP

• Modernize legacy SAP custom developments in line with Clean Core principles

• Develop and optimize high-performance ABAP on HANA solutions

• Design APIs and integrations using OData, REST, SOAP, and SAP BTP services

• Conduct architecture assessments, code reviews, and performance optimization

• Collaborate with functional consultants and mentor junior and mid-level developers

• Lead technical design decisions and promote reusable development standards

SAP RAP — Managed and Unmanaged scenarios

ABAP on HANA and Object-Oriented ABAP

Core Data Services (CDS)

SAP Gateway and OData V2/V4

SAP Fiori Elements

SAP S/4HANA Extensibility Framework

SAP BTP Extension Suite and Business Application Studio

SAP ADT

RESTful API development

Performance tuning and database optimization

SAP integration and extension frameworks
