About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) Consultant with strong expertise in designing, building, and monitoring cloud-based applications across SAP ecosystems. The ideal candidate will have deep hands-on experience with SAP BTP, Cloud ALM, and SaaS application integration, and will be responsible for implementing scalable monitoring frameworks and ensuring seamless connectivity across enterprise systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and manage applications and services on SAP BTP (Cloud Foundry, Kyma, or Neo environments).
- Implement and configure monitoring and observability using SAP Cloud ALM, SAP Alert Notification Service, and SAP Automation Pilot.
- Develop reusable components and frameworks for SaaS application monitoring and integration.
- Collaborate with SAP BASIS, Security, and Application teams to ensure end-to-end visibility of BTP landscapes.
- Integrate BTP services (e.g., CAP, CPI, Event Mesh, Workflow Management, IAS/IPS, and Destination Service) into existing system architectures.
- Troubleshoot and optimize BTP applications for performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Support operational readiness, automation, and proactive monitoring using BTP tools and APIs.
- Provide documentation, knowledge transfer, and technical mentorship to internal teams.
Required Skills & Experience
- 10+ years of SAP experience, with at least 4+ years in SAP BTP development and administration.
- Strong understanding of SAP Cloud ALM, SAP Integration Suite (CPI), and SAP Launchpad / Fiori Apps on BTP.
- Proficient in Node.js, Java, or Python for developing custom BTP applications.
- Hands-on experience in SaaS monitoring, API management, and cloud observability.
- Knowledge of OAuth2, SSO (IAS/IPS), and Cloud Connector configurations.
- Familiarity with SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) integration, Data Services, and Event Mesh.
- Experience working with multi-cloud environments (Azure, AWS, or GCP) and DevOps pipelines (CI/CD).
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Nice to Have
- SAP Certified Development Associate – SAP BTP or Integration Suite.
- Experience implementing SAP RISE or S/4HANA Cloud integrations.
- Exposure to SecurityBridge, Dynatrace, or other observability tools for SAP.
