This position sits within our Digital Technology organization, in the ERP & Corporate Systems team.

Your Mission
As a Senior SAP S/4HANA ABAP Developer, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and optimizing high-performance SAP solutions across both BAU and project environments.
You will contribute to architectural decisions, enforce development best practices, and ensure high-quality, scalable technical solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop high-quality solutions in S/4HANA ABAP (RICEFW), including CDS Views, OData Services, Workflows, and Enhancements.
- Build reusable, scalable objects (CDS artifacts, ABAP OO components, BAPIs, Function Modules) to reduce redundancy and improve efficiency.
- Lead technical solution design and provide defect resolution for complex ABAP developments.
- Define and enforce development standards, coding guidelines, and quality controls.
- Drive issue identification and prioritization strategies, collaborating with stakeholders to ensure timely production issue resolution.
- Ensure adherence to code quality and performance standards using tools such as ATC, Code Inspector, and other static analysis tools.
- Contribute to documentation, knowledge capitalization, and structured knowledge transfer within the team.
- Support continuous improvement and adoption of modern SAP development paradigms.
Required Experience
- 8+ years of hands-on experience in SAP ABAP Development.
- Strong experience in S/4HANA implementation and lifecycle management projects.
- Proven expertise in:
- ABAP OO
- CDS Views
- OData Services
- RICEFW Objects
- Enhancements & Interfaces
- Workflow & BRF+
- Strong understanding of performance optimization and database procedures.
- Experience with SAP Fiori architecture and integration frameworks.
- Solid understanding of integration technologies:
- ALE / RFC / IDoc
- Web Services (SOAP/REST)
- OData
- Middleware tools (Tibco, Informatica plus)
Nice to Have:
- SAP BTP and CAP development experience.
- Exposure to modern SAP roadmap and cloud-first strategies.
Methodologies & Tools
- Experience working in Agile / Scrum environments.
- Familiarity with ITSM tools (ServiceNow, SolMan, JIRA).
- Strong documentation and presentation capabilities.

Contract Details
- Location: India (Hyderabad preferred office presence required).
- Seniority: Senior (8+ years).
- Availability: Immediate or notice period under 2 months.
- Initial contract: 6 months, with strong extension potential.
