Purpose of the Job:
Senior Salesforce Developer position will oversee the enterprise-wide case management systems, maximizing the employee experience through the creative and technical use of the Salesforce platforms. Successful applicants will be collaborative, self-motivated problem solvers who enjoy meaningful work.
Responsibilities:
- Communication & Client-Facing Responsibilities: Acts as a point of contact for clients and stakeholders, clearly communicating technical concepts and project updates and gathering and refining requirements to ensure alignment with business goals.
- Design and Implement Custom Solutions: Develop custom applications and enhancements within the Salesforce platform to meet business requirements and improve overall system efficiency, ensuring applications are scalable, secure, and maintainable.
- Lead Technical Projects: Guide the technical aspects of projects, from conception through implementation, ensuring best practices are followed and solutions are scalable.
- Integrate Salesforce with Other Systems: Design and develop integrations between Salesforce and other business systems using API, web services, and middleware.
- Data cloud : Design and implement Salesforce Data Cloud solutions to unify customer data from multiple sources Salesforce Data Cloud configuration and administration, Agent Force platform development and deployment
- Data Management: Oversee data migration and data quality efforts, including designing and managing data models, data cleansing, and data loading processes.
- Deployment: Implement continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines for Salesforce using tools such as Copado, GitHub, and Jenkins.
- Code Review: Conduct code reviews to ensure best practices and quality.
- Collaboration: Work closely with stakeholders, including business analysts, project managers, and other developers, to understand requirements and deliver solutions that meet business needs.
- Collaborate with Internal Project Teams: Work closely with internal project teams, including developers, to ensure tasks are completed efficiently, project timelines are met, and high-quality solutions are delivered.
- Troubleshooting & Support: Provide advanced support for Salesforce-related issues, troubleshooting and resolving complex problems quickly and efficiently.
- Mentorship: Mentor and train junior developers, providing guidance and reviewing their work to ensure code quality and adherence to best practices.
- Contribute to RFPs and Demos: Participate in preparing and delivering requests for proposals (RFPs) and product demonstrations as needed.
Requirements:
- Extensive Salesforce Experience: 7+ years of experience in Salesforce roles, working with diverse clients. Participation in full SDLC process for enterprise applications.
- Leadership Experience: At least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership position.
- Certifications: Salesforce PD1 certification required; multiple Salesforce certifications preferred
- Solution Development: Proven ability to develop end-to-end Salesforce solutions using Configuration and Customization, including APEX Classes, Triggers, Visualforce pages, Lightning components, and OmniStudio components.
- Managed Packages & ISV Solutions: Knowledgeable in creating managed packages and AppExchange solutions, preferred.
- Process Automation: Experience in automating business processes with Salesforce automation tools like flows, formulas, assignment rules, and email alerts.
- Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and communication skills.
- Public Sector Experience: Experience working in the public sector preferred
