Position Description
PAR is seeking a Senior Salesforce Marketing Cloud Administrator to support, configure, and optimize our Salesforce Marketing Cloud platform in support of global marketing and customer engagement initiatives. This role focuses on platform administration, configuration, operational support, and governance while partnering closely with Marketing, CRM, Data, IT, and Development teams in a highly integrated, enterprise environment.

The Senior Salesforce Marketing Cloud Administrator is a critical member of the team who helps maximize the value of Marketing Cloud by ensuring system stability, data integrity, deliverability, security, and adherence to Salesforce best practices.
Working closely with Marketing Operations, Product Management, Developers, QA, and business stakeholders, you will support solution delivery through platform configuration, environment management, operational support, and continuous optimization. You will collaborate with business partners to translate marketing requirements into scalable, data-driven Marketing Cloud solutions while supporting Agile/Scrum delivery models.
The ideal candidate brings strong Salesforce Marketing Cloud administration experience, excellent problem-solving skills, and experience supporting enterprise-scale marketing automation platforms.

What We're Looking For
- Strong hands-on experience administering Salesforce Marketing Cloud
- Configure, manage, and support core Marketing Cloud components, including:
- Email Studio, Content Builder, and Mobile Studio
- Journey Builder and Automation Studio
- Contact Builder and data model configuration
- Subscriber and contact data management
- Administer and optimize marketing journeys, triggered campaigns, and scheduled automations
- Manage user access, roles, permissions, and business units
- Support integrations with Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and external data sources via APIs and connectors
- Monitor platform performance, deliverability, data hygiene, and automation health
- Perform proactive system maintenance and operational tasks
- Support data management activities, including:
- Data extensions, data imports/exports, and synchronization processes
- Data quality, deduplication, and segmentation
- Troubleshoot platform issues and collaborate with developers and Salesforce admins to resolve defects
- Translate business and marketing requirements into scalable Marketing Cloud configurations
- Collaborate with Marketing, CRM, and Analytics teams to ensure optimal customer engagement and personalization
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog grooming, and retrospectives
- Support release management and change control activities across Marketing Cloud environments
- Assist with DevOps processes, deployment readiness, and automation governance
- Maintain documentation, standards, data models, and operational runbooks
Unleash your potential: What you will be doing and owning:
- Salesforce Marketing Cloud Administrator or Consultant certification
- Experience supporting integrations between Marketing Cloud and Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, or Data Cloud
- Experience working with complex data models, multi-brand, or multi-region Marketing Cloud implementations
- Experience supporting CI/CD processes, automation governance, or source control for Marketing Cloud assets
- Experience working in large, distributed, enterprise environments
Nice-to-Have
- Experience with Marketing Cloud Personalization, Intelligence (Datorama), or Data Cloud
- Exposure to SMS, push notifications, WhatsApp, or mobile messaging channels
- Experience supporting consent management, CAN-SPAM, GDPR, and data privacy requirements
- Basic understanding of AMPscript, SQL, and REST/SOAP APIs (admin/support perspective)
- Experience with multi-business-unit Marketing Cloud architectures
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business, technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- 58 years of experience as a Salesforce Administrator, with strong focus on Salesforce Marketing Cloud
- Strong communication skills with the ability to partner effectively with Marketing, Data, and technical teams
- A continuous learner, collaborative problem-solver, and detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
