About The Role

We are looking for a Modern Trade professionals to drive sales, build strong relationships with key accounts, and expand our presence in the market. The ideal candidate will have around 5 years of experience in modern trade sales, managing large-format retail stores, and driving revenue growth through strategic partnerships.

The Impact You'll Make

  • Drive sales growth by managing relationships with modern trade retailers, supermarkets, and hypermarkets.
  • Identify new business opportunities and expand the brand's presence in the Thane market.
  • Negotiate trade terms, pricing, and promotional activities to maximize revenue and profitability.
  • Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
  • Maintain strong relationships with modern trade chains.
  • Ensure proper visibility and stock availability across all key outlets.
  • Work closely with category managers and buyers to drive brand positioning and promotions.
  • Monitor product display, shelf space, and in-store activations to ensure brand visibility.
  • Coordinate with the marketing team for promotional campaigns and consumer engagement activities.
  • Track competitor activities and provide market intelligence to enhance sales strategies.
  • Ensure proper demand forecasting and inventory management to prevent stockouts or overstocking.
  • Work closely with logistics and distribution teams for timely product deliveries.
  • Analyze sales performance and generate reports on key metrics, including sell-through rates, promotions effectiveness, and market trends.
  • Provide insights on consumer preferences and competitive strategies to optimize sales execution.

The Skills And Knowledge You'll Bring

  • Education: Bachelor's/Master's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Experience: Around 5 years of experience in Modern Trade sales, preferably in FMCG, Consumer Goods, or Retail.
  • Industry Knowledge: Understanding of Thane's modern trade landscape and key retail players.
  • Expertise in negotiation, trade marketing, and key account management.
  • Strong understanding of retail dynamics, supply chain, and merchandising.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, Sales CRM tools, and market analytics.
  • Strong communication and relationship management abilities.
  • Strategic mindset with excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
