MidSenior Level Sales Manager (Fintech |

B2B | SaaS | Banking/BFSI | Public Sector)

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced and driven Sales Professional to lead and expand our B2B

enterprise and government-sector business for our fintech SaaS solutions. The ideal candidate

brings strong exposure to Banking, NBFCs, Insurance, BFSI enterprises and Public

Sector/Government agencies, with a proven record of driving revenue, building

executive-level relationships, and navigating long, complex sales cycles.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Business Development & Revenue Growth

Own end-to-end sales life cycle for enterprise BFSI and public sector accounts.

Drive new customer acquisition through prospecting, lead qualification, RFP/RFQ

responses, and deal closure.

Identify cross-sell and up-sell opportunities within existing accounts.

Build and maintain a robust pipeline through structured territory planning and consistent

outreach.

2. Enterprise & Public Sector Account Management

Engage with decision-makers such as CIOs, CTOs, CDOs, CROs, Innovation Heads,

Digital Transformation Leaders, and Procurement authorities.

Build relationships with public sector bodies, PSU banks, regulatory institutions, and

government departments.

Manage compliance-heavy and process-driven public sector sales cycles including

tendering, empanelment, and vendor onboarding.

3. Solution Selling & Product Positioning

Understand and articulate the value proposition of SaaS-based fintech solutions

including payments, lending, onboarding, KYC/AML, risk scoring, analytics, or core tech

stacks.

Conduct consultative selling by identifying customer pain points and aligning product

capabilities to business needs.

Work closely with Product, Pre-sales, Engineering, and Delivery teams to craft winning

technology proposals.

4. Relationship Building & Industry Collaboration

Maintain strong professional networks within the BFSI and government ecosystem.

Attend conferences, industry forums, and digital transformation events.

Partners with consulting firms, system integrators, and channel partners where required.

5. Performance & Reporting

Track KPIs including pipeline health, conversion ratios, forecasts, and quarterly revenue

targets.

Present business reviews and strategic account plans to senior management.

Ensure CRM hygiene and timely documentation.

Candidate Profile & Requirements/Education & Experience:

48 years of experience in B2B enterprise sales within Fintech, SaaS, Banking

Technology, BFSI, or GovTech domains.

Proven success in closing high-value deals with banks, NBFCs, insurers, and/or public

sector entities.

Experience navigating compliance-heavy, process-driven enterprise procurement cycles.

Skills & Competencies:

Strong understanding of the BFSI digital ecosystem (payments, digital lending,

onboarding, fraud/risk, API banking, automation, compliance tech).

Demonstrated ability to run long sales cycles (318 months).

Excellent negotiation, presentation, and communication skills.

Ability to influence senior stakeholders and handle CXO-level conversations.

Strong problem-solving and storytelling ability for solution-oriented selling.

CRM proficiency (HubSpot, Salesforce, Zoho, etc.)

Preferred Exposure:

Working with PSU banks, public sector undertakings, or government technology

departments.

Experience with RFP/RFQ, e-tendering portals, and public procurement guidelines.

Prior background in consultative/solution sales or enterprise SaaS.
