Position Overview
You own revenue growth for cross-border banking and trade finance solutions across exporters, importers, MSMEs, and enterprise clients. You execute go-to-market strategies, build a robust pipeline, and close high-value deals that extend the platform's reach. Your market insight shapes product, compliance, and risk roadmaps while you partner with leadership on forecasting and competitive intelligence.
Role & Responsibilities
- Execute the sales strategy in line with national go-to-market plans.
- Drive new customer acquisition and revenue growth across trade segments.
- Own sales targets for revenue, volumes, and active clients.
- Build and manage a strong sales pipeline through outbound efforts and strategic partnerships.
- Manage key client relationships and unlock cross-sell opportunities.
- Work closely with the Head of Sales on forecasting, reporting, and market insights.
- Collaborate with Product, Compliance, and Risk teams to ensure smooth client onboarding.
- Ensure every sales activity complies with RBI, FEMA, AML, and TBML guidelines.
- Represent the organisation at customer meetings and industry events.
Must have Criteria
- 610 years of sales experience in banking, trade finance, forex, or transaction banking.
- Deep understanding of cross-border payments, FX, export/import processes, and RBI/FEMA compliance.
- Proven record selling to exporters, importers, MSMEs, or corporate clients.
- Hands-on expertise in client acquisition, relationship management, and deal closure.
- Strong pipeline management, forecasting, and CRM discipline.
Nice to Have
- MBA or trade-finance certifications.
- Experience working with AD-I banks, PSPs, or ecosystem partnerships.
