Designation: Senior Sales / Business Development Manager

Location: Pithampur, Madhya Pradesh

Function: B2C Sales | Projects | Institutional & B2B

Industry: Premium Furniture / Interiors / Contract Manufacturing

Role Overview

We are looking for a Senior Sales / Business Development Manager to lead and scale B2B, institutional, and project sales from our Pithampur manufacturing facility.

This role sits at the intersection of sales, manufacturing capability, and client relationship management. The candidate will be responsible for building strong pipelines, closing high-value projects, and acting as the commercial bridge between clients, design teams, and factory operations.

This is a hands-on, ownership role, not a desk-only sales position.

Key Responsibilities

1. Business Development & Sales

  • Drive B2B / institutional / hospitality / developer / architect-led sales
  • Generate and close leads for:

Hotels & hospitality projects

Corporate offices

Premium residential developers

Export / bulk manufacturing opportunities

  • Build and manage a strong project pipeline with clear conversion timelines
  • Lead pricing, negotiation, and contract finalisation

2. Client Relationship Management

  • Act as the single point of contact for key accounts and large projects
  • Conduct client meetings, factory visits, and technical discussions
  • Ensure clear alignment between client expectations and factory capabilities
  • Build long-term relationships with:

Architects

Interior designers

Project managers

Procurement teams

3. Coordination with Factory & Design Teams

  • Work closely with:

Production planning

Design & product development

Quality and execution teams

  • Translate client requirements into clear production briefs
  • Ensure feasibility, timelines, and costing are locked before commitments
  • Monitor project progress from order confirmation to dispatch

4. Market & Channel Development

  • Identify new sales channels, geographies, and verticals
  • Develop partnerships with:

Design studios

PMC firms

Hospitality consultants

  • Track market trends, competitor activity, and pricing benchmarks

5. Reporting & Forecasting

  • Maintain accurate sales forecasts and order books
  • Track conversion ratios and deal health
  • Share structured feedback from market to leadership and product teams

Key Requirements

Experience

  • 8–15 years of experience in: Furniture / Interiors / Contract manufacturing/Building materials / premium products
  • Proven track record of closing high-value, project-based sales
  • Experience working directly with factories or production units is a strong plus

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong negotiation and commercial acumen
  • Ability to understand technical drawings, BOQs, and specifications
  • Excellent communication with both clients and internal teams
  • Comfortable working in a manufacturing-led environment
  • Willingness to travel for client meetings and project discussions
