Job Summary
The Senior Sales Executive is responsible for driving day-to-day sales performance, managing active sales pipelines, supporting the sales team during duty hours, and ensuring consistent achievement of sales targets. This role acts as the operational face of Sales, ensuring discipline, follow-ups, conversions, and superior client experience.
Key Responsibilities
1.Sales Operations & Target Achievement
- Drive daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets across assigned verticals.
- Monitor live inquiries, conversions, and closures during duty hours.
- Ensure timely follow-ups, quotations, and confirmations.
2.Team Coordination & Support
- Act as the point of escalation for the sales team during duty hours.
- Guide executives on pricing, negotiation, and client handling.
- Ensure adherence to sales SOPs, trackers, and reporting formats.
3.Client Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and repeat customers.
- Handle priority clients, walk-ins, and high-value inquiries.
- Ensure high levels of client satisfaction and service recovery where required.
4.Business Development
- Identify cross-sell and up-sell opportunities within existing accounts.
- Support new client acquisition and partnership initiatives.
- Track lost opportunities and implement corrective actions.
5.Sales Tracking & Reporting
- Maintain accurate sales MIS, inquiry trackers, and conversion reports.
- Share daily performance updates and insights with Sales Head.
- Analyze trends, gaps, and improvement areas.
6.Coordination with Internal Teams
- Coordinate with Operations, Ticketing, Holidays, Visa, and MICE teams for smooth closures.
- Liaise with Accounts for payment follow-ups and credit control.
- Ensure documentation and compliance standards are followed.
7.Market & Industry Awareness
- Stay updated on travel products, airline fares, hotel trends, and competitor activity.
- Provide market feedback to management for strategy refinement.

Qualifications & Experience

- 57 years of sales experience, preferably in the travel industry
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Experience in handling teams, clients, and escalations
